Visual consistency across variable viewports depends on mathematical rigour. Grid Foundation is a layout engine and design token framework engineered to maintain precise proportion, alignment, and typographic rhythm across any screen dimension.
Role & Responsibilities Design Systems Engineer. Defined spatial token math, built responsive layout grids, and published documentation for component integration.
The Challenge Inconsistent spatial paddings and arbitrary viewport breakpoints regularly lead to broken grid alignments, uneven UI proportions, and recurring design regressions during implementation.
The Solution Built a unified spatial system tied to fluid fluid calculation scales and fixed baseline rhythms. By linking padding, gaps, and typography directly to tokenized math rules, component alignment remains visually locked regardless of device geometry.
